Miu Miu RTW Spring 2013 Paris

    Miuccia Prada really changed up the script this Spirng. With the introduction to her Spring 2013 line with big lust for denim, hefty fur coats, meanwhile mixed in with vibrantly bold color-splattered dresses, it is still Miu Miu but with a more contemporary femme fatale edge. When we think Miu Miu (atleast for me), we see a girly yet sophisticated feel, with bold, sassy prints on a beautiful color pattern and maybe even some glitter.

    However this line just screams seduction with over sized denim and furry wraps. The contemporary look is made sexy with its 50's feel of retro half-cut top/bra pieces with parts of the abdomen showing, and long pencil denim skirts of only what I remember being worn in old movies. In addition, the style of the models gives an Audrey Hepburn undertone, with their short cut bangs and emphasized cat-lined eyes.
    Here are some of my favorite pieces of the spring line  along with "Blue Jeans" by Lana Del Ray that I stop but imagining when I see this collection.

Stripes for all: Best of Marc by Marc Jacobs Spring 2013 Ready-to-Wear Collection

       I know its been forever since I last blogged, I've just been consumed by studying and exams. Please save me. Well seeing Marc's Spring 2013 RTW line does soothe my soul with its laid back feel, eccentric pastel colors, and boho patterns. Spring 2013 is approaching so soon already, yet so far away.
      When I first look at these outfits, the diverse colors and embroidery reminds me strongly of Mexican cultural influence with a softer edge. As well of reminding me of Frida Kahlo's art. Especially because of the long loose, puffy dresses and tied scarfs all around the body and hair.

       I just want to snag a couple of these pieces and sip on a coconut while laying on the beach.....oh the dream. But first, I have to get through these exams.

Till Death Do Us Part

What a perfect night, and a beautiful wedding. <3

Last night was the wedding of my boyfriend's father. It was actually  the first time I have ever attended a wedding ceremony, and it was amazing. Everything was beautiful.

Orange and Blue, Gators

   First day of school! Oh so much fun! But not really, because it means the beginning of new exams, homework, sleep deprivation, anxiety, stress, and overloading on caffeine. Meh....i guess it's not that bad. Although sometimes I do enjoy school. Gaining knowledge and being challenged along with exciting new experiences is the best part of school. 

    Well I must say it is great to be a Florida Gator.

Fall is starting to sneak up on us. The cool breeze with the autumn leaves makes me want to blend in with nature. This time of the year i'll be mainly wearing a bunch of tans and brown with hint of flowers. My favorite scheme. I love everything about fall, except starting school again.

Afternoon at Morikami

     Today was such a lovely day, my parents and my boyfriend and I went to the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens. What a beautiful place...so scenic, peaceful, and mesmerizing. Although it was rather hot and I was wiping sweat from every nook of my body, it was worth it; especially to see the smile on my parent's face. My parents are kinda like nature/plant freaks....well my mom. It's been a while, with all the busy bustling of work and school, since I have been able to relax and explore with my parents. Today was well worth it.
